With GDAK you can create databases on your Android device and fill them with caches via the Geoacaching.com Live API. Just install GDAK, let GDAK create the necessary directories, press the menu button and choose for Create Database. You can create as many databases as you want, but one database will suffice for most users.

It is also possible to view and work with databases from GSAK, the Geocaching Swiss Army Knife application for Microsoft Windows PCs, on your Android device. GDAK uses databases created by the GSAK program, so you will also need to have GSAK installed on your PC and create one or more databases there before using GDAK.

Your gsak on the go

Great app, I just copy my gsak db to my phone and off I go. Nice maps, clean interface.

Great field app!

Great for logging offline and exchanging between GSAK. Really like the API access. Highly recommended.

Great app - Great price

Really enjoy being able to quickly copy my GSAK info to my phone. Worked like a charm - used it side-by-side with my eTrex C. Loved being able to use the app without using data plan. Will be throwing a couple of $ your way :) One item on my wish list would be to indicate cache size on the main page or to add it to the T/E filter.

If it worked it'd be great.

Constant force closes, never loads caches, better apps out there for same thing but actually work.

Promising concept.

Scrolling on the map screen is not smooth, even on a fast phone with an empty database. There's no way to deselect a target, except by going back to the database and selecting the map view, which unfortunately recenters the map again. That makes browsing awkward. Finally, the lack of map choices is really limiting. It's a good start, but just too clumsy to use often.

Great app

All my buddies have another app for geocaching, but I tried it with a GPX from GSAK and it failed to load. With this app I just copymy GSAK databases and I know I'll have all the geocaching info I need offline. Works realy nice. I only haven't figured out out to put the SpolierSync photos in it.
