The Google Pinyin IME is an input method optimized for Chinese character input.

The IME offers a variety of methods for fast and easy input of Chinese characters, including:
- 9 key input
- Latin keyboard
- Voice input
- Handwriting input

We currently support both simplified and traditional Chinese characters, as well as punctuation, emoticons, Latin characters and digits. Voice input is network-based in order to provide highly accurate matches.

Note: To be used on your Android device, the IME must be enabled in "Settings" → "Language & keyboard settings".

Rooms for improvement

(1) Better interface than Go Keyboard which I'm using now. (2) But still lack of Hong Kong words such as "嗰" & "啲". (3) Also when i choose traditional Chinese input, associated words are still in simplified Chinese. (Conclusion) How frustrating.

Plz update!!!

The android input method has changed a lot, so plz catch up with the tech! Lots of work could be done such as swiping imput, better autofix and even online long sentence prediction ~ plz do some update!!! Always Supporting!!

Shift

This is a great app, but less friendly for people who uses both traditional and simplified Chinese. Hope to have a quick "shift" key added to the keyboards so we don't need to go into the system tool to shift between traditional and simplified.

English autospell needs improvement

The new design for tablet looks great! However, the English autospelling correction is still not perfect. For example, when I type "see", the autospell corrects it to "seen". If the autocorrection works Iike HTC stock IME, that would be perfect. I notice that it only affects the QWERTY keyboard.

Improving

More visually appealingly than before, less bugs, swiping up or down is more accurate. Before it would press multiple keys or multiple times, but now it doesn't. Now, with autospace, I'll habitually click space after the word and end up with two spaces. I wish it would detect that and prevent the double space from happening.

not a good ime for hong kong/ traditional chinese users.

very disappointing! 1.ALL hong kong words are missing. 2.only simplified chinese will be in 'next word' list even i am typing traditional chinese. 3.coding method in 五笔 is slightly different from other IME which makes me extra time for searching the word. 4. performance becomes bad in the recent version. it takes 500ms lag on EVERY keyin in chinese input (though english input is pretty smooth). I am using a dual core machine.

What can I do with this?

I accidentally deleted most of my memory luckily I still have this app. for some reason, in fact it will not go away so I'm going back to school to learn how to use it, seems important.

poor support

After receiving ICS and Jelly Bean updates all turf on fields are discolored, which makes game difficult to see/play. This has been a known issue for nearly a year with no patch or update from EA Sports. Other than this pretty serious shortcoming, FIFA12 is a pretty good game.

Good app but dislike auto spacin

The new update introduced auto spacing after each word. It's quite annoying as it has become habitual to press a space after it. Also makes it harder to add to the end of a word. Please add an option to switch auto space on or off. Would be nice if it could auto-capitalize the "I" in English too!!
