GO Contact Widget makes start communicating contacts directly on home screen.

GO Contact Widget makes you contact your favorite friends just directly on home screen of GO Launcher EX. You can start making a phone call, sending a message, viewing their info, sending an e-mail or having a Google talk chat with them by just one click - without opening the contacts app.

To make it work, you must install the latest version of GO Launcher EX which is the most popular home launcher app in Android Market.

It also supports one touch action for direct dial, send sms and view contact's profile. To enable this function, you can long press the contact in the widget and select the action you want in the pop-up window.

Like other GOWidgets, theme is also supported.

It's a resizable widget! You can long press it and use the "resize" option to change the size.

How to add GOWidgets on your home screen?
- Long press on your home screen in GO Launcher EX. Press the GOWidget option and choose the widget you like. Make sure you have enough room for the widget.

Could be better

Wish it would show up better when set to a smaller size and needs more customization. Would rather use my default quick contacts widget on my bionic

Very happy

This widget conveniently adds contacts to the home screen for easy access. This assists the user when needing to make an urgent call or if there are certain contacts that are called regularly. I certainly utilise the widget often and recommend that others download it too.

Happy Until ICS Update

I was happy with this app until I did the ICS update on my Samsung Galaxy S2. As stated by others, the Facebook photos are no longer available. Initially I thought it might be an ICS issue. However, the stock contacts widget built into ICS does support Facebook photos. PLEASE repair this!

No es lo que buscaba

Necesito tener un widget de marcacion rapida, pero esta app lo hace a medias... Te deja configurar una marcacion rapida para un contacto, pero no podes elegir el numero de tel. del contacto para la marcacion... Por ejemplo si tengo 3 numeros para un contacto, agarra el primero y ya... no hay forma de personalizar a que numero debe marcar... Le falta desarrollo, ademas el widget es bastante grande y no se puede hacer mas pequeño porque entonces no se ven bien los contactos.

Good, but only 10 contacts

Its perfect, SAVE the fact that only shows 10 contacts... if the widget would show all contacts in the list selected, it would get a 5 star

Fail

Garbage app doesn't work right. groups do not show up right, so I can't add the contacts I want. Some groups have 9 people in them, but the widget only finds two, and those two won't even show up in the widget if I select that group. Some of my groups even get spilt up, so that if I had nine in the group, it would turn into three groups of three.

Stopped working

Loved widget but just stopped working... Won't load groups anymore will give more stars when fixed

OK...

I like how you can press a contact and it shows you their Facebook status, I don't like that it shows contacts that you really don't use at the top.. I found that if you go to add on home screen and add shortcuts you can add the contacts you want in the order you want, you can even direct dial or direct msg too it even showed their Facebook status without the pic looking ugly so I guess I really didn't find this useful becouse its already in my phone, but if you don't have it then this is a OK alternative.

No more pictures

As others have said, Facebook pictures are no longer available. I guess it's another Go product I'm going to stop using. I wish I can get the stock widget while in Go Launcher.
