Each tool does what it is supposed to do. There's no space for special effects like 3d compass, talking level, psychedelic flashlight etc: the goal is to have a lightweight, fast and easy to use set of tools, one "tap" away from your home screen.
This app is half the size of a common "standalone tool" like a compass, a flashlight or a magnifying glass. This way you'll save a lot of disk space. You'll save network consumption too, not only for the first download but for every update too.
It doesn't require network access, the permission to write on your flash memory or the permission to read your contacts.
Suggestions, like new features to implement, new tools etc. are welcome. If you want to contribute a translation, please let us know by sending us an email ;)
If you find a bug, please contact us using the "Report a bug" main menu function.
Note: if you write a comment on the Android Market without sending us an email, it's difficult for us to fix the problem, because usually we need some information (such as smartphone type and version, a way to replicate the problem, etc.)
Note:
- Depending on the hardware capabilities of your smartphone, some tools may not be present
- The permission to use the camera is required in order to turn on the camera flash LED. Some smartphones (for instance the Google Nexus S) don't light the flash LED if the camera is not running. If you check the most popular flashlight apps, you'll find out that they all require this permission. Swiss Army Knife doesn't shot any photos, doesn't save multimedia info onto the flash card and doesn't send anything on the internet: it doesn't require the network permission at all.

Jake - November 17, 2012Would give higher score, but...
Would give higher score except it sometimes dims off and on, and the mirror is not that great, like a bad faded photo. Flashlight is great though. Love calculator. Compass is awesome.
Alexei - November 10, 2012Brilliant
Only mirror feature has a problem, but that I think something to do with the phone model, because e.g. Skype doesn't work in video mode at all.
John - November 6, 2012Simple & Functional
I really like that the applications provide the expected functionality without unnecessary access to things like network status and other system details. I'm using the Swiss Army Knife on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Safia - October 22, 2012Not getting compass @ leveler.
How come I don't get compass and bubble level. Understood can't get mirror as my Sony Xperia Tipo duo don't have a front camera. Please fix it.
Colleen - September 20, 2012No way to access menu
Had this on old phone and loved it but on HTC one v there is no menu button. The apps still work but can't calibrate ruler or access settings which limits usefulness.
Frank - September 22, 2012Nearly perfect
This app was a great addition to my collection and very practical, however; the compass is way off and there is no way to calibrate
ramachandra - September 20, 2012Swiss.....sweet....
All in one app..... It shows the characteristics of a good app...no need to download multiple app...takes very little memory after installation....
Ling - September 30, 2012Awesome.. with room for improvements
I especially like the multiple countdown timer. Just some suggestions for improvements: 1. The settings for "Alarm Duration" for countdown timer should allow us to customize the duration. Reason being that the current "Unlimited" can be annoying when the phone is some distance away; while the "few seconds" is too short to be noticed when you're busy with some other stuffs. 2. Have Widget option to have fast access to any applet that we use frequently, instead of having to go to the launcher and then select the applet. Improve on these and I will give 5 stars :)
Gustavo - September 20, 2012Does what it says
Simple tools, low disk space, all tools work properly. Great app!
Hasibul - September 28, 2012Very good indeed but not perfect
The mirror doesnt work properly in galaxy note..it stays on the top left corner and doesnt cover the screen so you can see unused screen which is bigger than the mirror........if it was fixed it would be just awsome.
