PikPok and Dreamworks Team Up for Turbo Racing League
Most people think of snails as slow, slimly creatures and we’d have to agree. Unless you’re talking about the snails of the Turbo Racing League that is. They may be slimy, but they’re the quickest snails you’ve ever seen…
We’ve seen a lot of movie tie-in games lately, and Turbo Racing League is the latest as it’s been put out to promote the upcoming film Turbo. Turbo League Racing is a cartoonish take on snail racing, and there are even some cash prizes up for grabs. You’ll get to speed down 9 different tracks, and compete in special race events. There are several different ways to trick out your shell as well, and you’ll get the usual performance upgrades like you would in any good racing game.
As mentioned, there are cash prizes and you can enter weekly contests for a chance to win money and play in a “Shell-Out” tourney in Vegas. There will be 8 weeks of tourneys featuring a prize pool of $500,000 and the winners advance to a tourney where they’ll compete for another $500,000. Not too shabby for playing a video game.
Turbo Racing League is a solid racing game, and it’s easy to play so anyone should be able to have a good time with it. It’s a slick little game, and the cash tourneys are certainly a nice touch. If you want to give it a go, you can pick up Turbo Racing League for free on Google Play.
