Top 10 New Android Games of the Week – November 25, 2012

Thanksgiving has passed and if you’re in the mood to sit on the couch with a belly full of Turkey and game out we’ve got you covered. Without further ado here are our picks for the Top 10 New Android Games of the Week…

1. MegaCity

We covered this one earlier in the week, and after spending the weekend playing Mega City it’s safe to say it’s a keeper. The game lets you plan out a city to earn points, but you’ll have to use a lot of stratgery as you’ve got a budget to work with and nobody wants to live next to a dump. You can pick up Cole Powered Games MegaCity for $0.99 on Google Play.

2. King Oddball

Sometimes Kings are regal, and other times they’re a bit odd. Such is the case with King Oddball the latest from 10tons as you’ll play a Boulder King who flings rocks about with his tongue. It’s just as strange as it sounds, and it’s also quite a bit of fun. You can check out King Oddball for free on Google Play.

3. MONOPOLY Millionaire

If you love Monopoly you’re in for a treat as EA has released another rendition of the popular game with MONOPOLY Millionaire. This fast paced game lets you race to be the first to get a million bucks as you make trades and go for powerful property deals. No free version is available, but the full version is well worth the $0.99 price tag.

4. Evo Dash

Evo Dash is a platform game that’s all about surviving as you’ll have to adapt to overcome an ever changing world as your levels and enemies are randomly generated. It’s an interesting game and the replay factor is definitely there with its ever changing levels. There’s a free version you can check out while the full version of Evo Dash will only set you back $1.15.

5. Dragon Slayer

If you’ve played Glu Mobile’s Blood & Glory and thought, “how cool would it be with dragons?” then think no more. Dragon Slayer takes the combat system from Blood & Glory, throws a little magic in and PRESTO… you get to battle giant dragons in swipe-based combat. The game looks great and you can get it for free on Google Play.

6. Chaos Rings Omega

The next chapter in the Chaos Rings saga was released on Google Play this week with Chaos Rings Omega. I didn’t play the first chapter, but if you if you did there’s no doubt you’ll want to pick this one up. It’s a large game at 1 gig, and it’s the same price as the first chapter coming in at $12.99.

7. Littlest Pet Shop

Gameloft released The Littlest Pet Shop earlier this week and virtual pet collectors around the world breathed a sigh of relief. If you’ve got kids chances are they’re already playing this and if they aren’t you can snag it for free on Google Play.

8. Avengers Initiative

The Avengers Initiative rolled onto Google Play this week and well… it’s kind of cool. The game obviously looks great, but it’s plagued issues ranging from invisible enemies to extreme lag. Only time will tell if Marvel fixes things, and if they do we’ll let you know. If you want to see if it will work you can pick up the Avengers Initiative for $4.99 on Google Play.

9. TNNS

TNNS is short for Tennis and it’s a nutty new Android game that’s going to test your reflexes to the max. You’ll have to bounce and bend balls as you try to break the blocks and go for the stars and it’s one of the funnest time-killers I’ve played this year. If you want to give it a go you can pick up Rabbx Inc’s TNNS for $1.99 on Google Play.

10. Neuro Wars

Neuro Wars is a game that tests your brain along with your reaction rate as you take on 20 slick levels and fight enemies for possession of those precious neurons. It’s a great looking game that’s great for a quick play and you can check it out for $1.99.
