Hack n’ Slash Fun in Gamelion’s League of Heroes for Android
GameLion Studios have put out some great games, but their latest game League of Heroes is my favorite by far. League of Heroes takes you on a journey through the mythical land of Frognest where you’ll stay busy taking on quests and hacking up monsters.
League of Heroes is a hack n’ slash adventure game in the truest sense of the word. Once your dropped into the land of Frognest you basically take on quests, fight monsters, and collect your rewards. You’ll get to take on over 60 energy-based quests that range from battling banshee’s (yes they shriek) to collecting silver. The good news is the quests are all a lot of fun and you can complete several in one run, but the bad news is the fact that it’s energy-based which means you’ll have to wait 10 minutes for bar of energy or trade in some jewels for a refill. Any good adventure game has to have great gear and League of Heroes definitely has that area covered with over 60 different pieces of equipment including swords, helms, armor, and boots. Last but not least we have real-life weather! Yup, you can set the game to have the same weather as your location and it works like a charm. There are also daily events and boss fights which is never ever a bad thing.
League of Heroes has been a blast and a very pleasant surprise thus far. I really have nothing negative to say about the game so far although I’m more than a little curious as to how the later quests will play out. Fighting monsters is definitely fun, but I’m anxious to see how much the quests will vary as I hope the game doesn’t start to feel grindy in the latter levels. If you dig adventure games League of Heroes is definitely worth checking out and you can pick it up for free on Google Play.
