Genetics gone wrong in Noodlecake Studios Velocispider Zero for Android
What happens when you cross a Velociraptor with a Spider? You get Noodlecake Studios newest Android game Velocispider Zero. While a Velocispider sounds like the stuff nightmares are made of the game itself is anything but a nightmare and quite a bit of fun to boot…
Velocispider Zero is the story of endangered eggs, evil CEO’s, and insane 16-bit enemies. You’ll find out a little about our hero and his plight in hilarious cut scenes throughout the game, but the main focus of Velocispider Zero is the action and there’s plenty of it. You control the Velocispider by tilting your device left or right, and firing is done through a button on the bottom of the screen. You basically want to take out anything and everything you see on the screen, especially the little skull bots as those are the suckers that will try and steal your eggs. There are a lot of cool power-ups to snag, and the game as a whole is about as retro as you can get.
Velocispider Zero is a pleasant surprise, and a game that’s hard to put down once you get going. I really enjoyed the old-school graphics and retro soundtrack of the game, and the gameplay is top-notch as well. If you’re into retro games Velocispider Zero is a game you’ll definitely want to check out, and you can do just that with the free demo on Google Play. If you like what you see you can grab the full version of Noodlecake Studios Velocispider Zero for only $0.99.
