Gameloft releases ‘Trailer’ for Real Football 2013
Android game developer Gameloft have released on Youtube what they deem to be a game trailer for an upcoming version of their top selling Real Football franchise. The trailer itself, for Real Football 2013, shows absolutely nothing of any use regarding gameplay or about the graphical content of the 2013 version of Real Football and seems more like an advertising video but, to be fair Gameloft probably don’t have all that much of the game to show us yet and we’re sure there will be a proper game trailer video released at some point in the near future which will hopefully contain a little more appetite whetting content for us Android gamers. The only thing the video does show is a graphic of new Real Football ambassador – Columbia and Athletico Madrid striker Falcao – being created before our eyes. Interesting but, not really what we’d like to see in a game trailer.
What we do know about Real Football 2013 is that it is destined to be a popular addition to the Android platform with it’s predecessor, the currently released Real Football 2012, having been downloaded a whopping 5 million times, out performing ‘sales’ of Fifa 2012 at a ratio of roughly 100 to 1. Real Football has taken the Android market by storm with its 2012 version and is a freemium game whereby it is free to download and then contains in game purchases which players can choose to buy or not to buy. Real Football 2013 is an exciting prospect and is expected to also be available as a freemium download when it is released early in 2013, possibly January 2013.
