Com2uS drops Tower Defense: Lost Earth onto Google Play
Com2uS has just released another Android Game into the wild with a new game called Tower Defense: Lost Earth. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what the game is about (the title kind of gives it away), but you never know what to expect from Com2uS so we were quite curious to see how they would handle a traditional Tower Defense game.
Tower Defense: Lost Earth drops you onto an alien planet in search of resources which the Earth can no longer provide. You’ll have to set up towers to defend yourself against endless waves of aliens who obviously don’t want you raiding their planet for resources. The game features 40 campaign & 7 challenge maps with 4 different modes of play. You’ll get 9 towers and 4 special weapons to use against your alien enemies, and they’ll be 10 different enemy units that you’ll have to face in the game. The battles will take place on 5 different “themed” worlds including Mountains, Desert, Craters, Lava, and Ice worlds.
I haven’t gotten a chance to play this one yet, but I am a fan of Tower Defense games and strategy games in general so I play on giving it a run soon. Given their recent odd (but fun) choices in games, and the debacle currently known as Homerun Battle 2 I’ll admit I really don’t know what to expect from Tower Defense: Lost Earth. I’m sure it will be fun, but am curious to see how much “in-app” purchases will come into play. If you want to check it out for yourself you can pick up Com2uS’s Tower Defense: Lost Earth on Google Play for free.
