This week was a truly awesome week to be into Android Games. We got a few classic’s re-released, a little western action, some soccer, and even a Beaver that loves TV’s. Yup, it was another wild week in the world of Android, and we’ve picked out 10 of the Games we thought we’re the best. Without further ado, we proudly present The Top 10 Android Games of the Week for March 18, 2012.

1. NBA Jam

Google Play got an awesome basketball title this week in the form of NBA Jam from EA Sports. Yup, it’s that NBA jam complete with all the high-flying acrobatics you know and love. It is “The” game to get if you’re a sports fan, and it plays perfectly on my ancient captivate. You can pick up EA Sports NBA Jam for $4.99 (well worth it) on Google Play.

2. Six-Guns

Six-Guns is a new Android game from Gameloft, and it’s quite the ride as you’ll take on outlaws and missions in an epic Wild West setting. Think Red Dead Redemption for your phone and you’ll have a good idea of what awaits you in the game. It’s not as good as Red Dead and the controls could use some work, but it’s still an awesome game to have on your device. You can pick up Six-Guns on Google Play for the low price of free.

3. Cut The Rope: Experiments

Om Nom is back, and he’s hungrier than ever in ZeptoLabs follow up to Cut the Rope dubbed Cut the Rope: Experiments. The gameplay stays the same, but you’ll get some cool new additions like suction cups & rope guns just to name a few. It’s definitely a “must have” game and you can get it for the low price of $0.99 cents on Google Play.

4. Scramble With Friends

Zynga unleashed a new way to kill time a few days ago with Scramble With Friends for Android. It’s basically a timed, online version of Boggle which sounds like a blast if you ask me. I haven’t gotten a chance to play this one yet, but you can count on it being ad-supported and a whole lotta’ fun if it’s anything like Hanging or Words with Friends. If you’re ready to lose hours of your live you can pick up Scramble With Friends for free on Google Play.

5. Save My Telly

Beavers love TV, who knew? This is the premise behind Save My Telly, a quirky new Android game from Behold Studios. You’ll have to save your Telly from all the elements including wind, rain and the occasional earthquake and you’ll do that by building shelters of sorts to keep you TV safe. Very cool game and you can check it out for $0.99 cents on Google Play.

6. FIFA 12

GOOOOAAALLLLLLL!!!!! That’s what you’ll probably shout when you get down to business in EA Sports “other” release of the week FIFA 12. Not a lot to say here as I prefer the other type of Football, but I have enjoyed FIFA on the PS3 on numerous occasions so I’ll admit to that. If you’re a Soccer fan definitely want to pick up FIFA 12 and you can get it for $4.99 on Google Play.

7. Mars Smash 3D

Fans of running games got a nice surprise with a new Android game called Mars Smash 3D from SixDead entertainment. You’ll have to run to keep Earth save from invading Martians, and you’re gonna have a lot of fun doing it as you collect powerups, weapons and unique accessories that will help you meet your goals. It’s an addictive little time-killer and you can get the free or paid version of Mars Smash 3D on Google Play.

8. Another World

If you were a gamer back in the day, there’s a really good chance you played a game called Another World or Out of this World as I remember it being called. It gained a cult-like following at the time for its exotic graphics and unique style of play, and now you can play this classic on your Android device courtesy of DotEmu. If you feel like doing a little retro gaming, you can pick up Another World for $4.99.

9. Steam Pilot

Steam Pilot is a cool new Android game from the Lycette Bros. that puts you to work collecting fireflies so you can keep your city lit. The game has a Steampunk look and feel to it and it’s a game I plan on checking out further as soon as it’s on the Google Play. Want to check it out now? You can do so for the low price of $0.99 cents if you have access to the Amazon App Store.

10. Time Sliders

Time Sliders is a new game from the awesomely named Sarcastic Hedgehog that puts you to work piecing together the puzzle of time. You’ll slide blocks to create a “snapshot” of history as you progress through more than 40 puzzling levels. I haven’t’ had a chance to play this one yet, but it looks like a very cool game. You can checkout Time Sliders on Google Play for the low price of FREE.
