Pyra Tower Defense is a slick new Tower Defense game that lets you create defensive mazes to achieve victory. The full version of the game boasts some crazy numbers in the form of 7 towers, 7 unique abilities, 25 maps, and a whopping 20 levels of difficulty. Pretty safe to say it’s a game that will keep you busy, and there’s even a free 3 map version you can try out. The developers at INIT13.NET released a crazy Android shooter this week in the form of Shogun: Bullet Hell Shooter. Fans of Puzzle games got a nice treat this week when Blind Cat Studios released a little game called graBLOX for Android. graBLOX takes cute little smiling boxes and has you try to link them all together by linking hands. You have to combine blox into groups to clear the board, but it will get pretty tricky as you’re dealing with 7 different types of blox that react differently to each other. You’ll get 70 levels to try and master the art of grabbing and you’re going to have a lot of fun along the way. You can pick up graBLOX for free in the Android market.
Orangepixel hit the market with a new Retro game this week called Neoteria, and as you might expect from the groups previous releases Neoteria is pretty darned slick. It’s a horizontal shooter that offers multiple levels set across different worlds and plenty of aliens to blast. If you dig retro games you’ll definitely want to check this one out. You can pick up the free or paid version of Neoteria in the Android market.
If you like Dolphins, Narwhals, Coins, and Rainbows we’ve got just the thing for you with a game called Sea Stars from Hothead Games. Sea Stars lets you zip through the ocean as a one of many different sea creatures as you try and snag coins and find prizes. I only got to play this one for a few minutes, but was impressed by the graphics and gameplay. You can pick up Sea Stars for free in the Android market.
7. IGun Zombie
iGun Zombies is a killer new game from Newface games that lets you destroy scores of Zombies with lots of cool, upgradable guns. The game has 150 missions, boss mode and hell wave mode which as the name implies, is pretty hellish. Slick graphics and addictive gameplay make this a great shooter, and best of all it’s free!
8. Airport City
Game Insight has put out some uber-popular games over the past year and they just added another one to their collection with Airport City. As with most all their games, Airport City is a building/time management game so you’re going to build and manage airport related items and send people all over the globe. If you liked their previous games, you’ll definitely dig this one. You can pick up Airport City for free in the Android market.
9. Pinball man
Pinball Man is a new Android game from Mattia Fortunati that lets you see what happens when you replace a pinball with a man. The results are great and get even better when the flippers are replaced with crocodiles and a few throwing stars fly your way. If you want to play pinball with a twist, be sure to check this one out. You can pick up Pinball man in the Android market for $0.99.
The game makers known as Mobage unleashed a new Android game this week in the form of DragonCraft. As you might expect, it does involve Dragons and you’ll get to capture them; magic and technology also come into play which sounds pretty darned cool to me. Unfortunately a lot of folks are having FC issues with the game right now, but I’m sure Mobage will get them straightened out shortly. If you’d like to give DragonCraft a go you can get it in the market for free.
